Luci - Wifi: What does 0% Signal mean when there are no connected devices?

Hello,

what does it mean, if Luci shows under Network -> Wireless -> “Generic MAC80211 802.11bgn (radio1)” Signal 0% when there are no connected devices? If one client is connected the signal will jump to 100%.

Is it a sleep mode of the wifi cards?

Hi,

my personal opinion is that without clients it’s not possible to “calculate” the signal strength as only noise value is available.
