Just today I’m getting a privacy warning in iOS saying the network is blocking encrypted traffic. As far as I can tell DNSSEC is enabled in the Omnia’s configuration, but maybe I’m missing something obvious.
I’ve seen the warning mentioned from various sources before, but so far I haven’t been able to find out what exactly Apple means by this, i.e. the precise conditions. If someone could point them out, ideally from some official docs, that would be nice.
Anyway, DNS encryption is about privacy, and that’s not really related to DNSSEC (which takes care of verifying that data is correct).
