How to use Turris Omnia as a pure WLan AP not a Router with TurrisOS 5.3.3

Hi all

With the 3.x branch I was able to use my old router as a WLan/WiFi AccessPoint. Now with the 5.3.x the device is no longer bridging the traffic :confused:

I was able to setup the device itself, but the wireless traffic is not fully flowing and the reForis is not happy with my setup either.
If I manage to configure my setup again with luci, will reForis overwrite it?
Or can I configure a bridge or AP mode in reForis?

Hi all

I appear to have the bridge back in a working state with the following changes in luci:

  • WMM Mode: false
  • Enable key reinstallation (KRACK) countermeasures: true
  • Isolate Clients: false
  • Short Preamble: true
  • Disassociate On Low Acknowledgement: true

I don’t think this is needed for ap-only mode. WMM mode is afaik required to achieve 802.11n/ac/ax bitrates.
(which means, you should better keep it on)
