Which opkg packages are required to create a RAID 1 (mirrored) configuration? Maybe kmod-md-raid1, kmod-md-mod, and mdadm?

Answer:

The necessary packages are installed when the ‘NAS’ options is selected in the Updater | Package List in Foris (http://192.168.1.1/foris/config/updater/).

Is @floflooo approach the right way to get the array to start at reboot? How can I make mdadm auto-assemble RAID after each boot? doesn’t (seem) to require the creating of a startup (/etc/init.d/mdadm) script. Moreover, is the location of the mdadm.conf file correct for openwrt?
