I restored turris MOX using mox-medkit-202011130724.tar.gz on a usb stick, by clicking the reset button 4 times during bootup until 4 flashes occur. Everything works correctly, but schnapps tells me there is no factory btrfs snapshot. Is that expected behavior?
Are you using correct medikit? https://repo.turris.cz/hbs/medkit/mox-medkit-latest.tar.gz
if you are using any other branche just change the “hbs” in the link url to get it for that branche (hbk,hbl,hbt…)
Turris says I am on hbs branch, so I definitely used the correct medkit.
I inserted an empty SD card into Turris Mox, and can confirm that the medkit no longer creates factory snapshots.
A very annoying bug in case the user tries to reset the device to defaults.
This problem seems to still be the case.
I put mox-medkit-202109130636.tar.gz on a USB stick, and inserted a completely empty SD card into Turris MOX. After using the restore method (waiting for the 4 flashes), there is no factory snapshot created.

Maybe the issue is with schnapps, where it doesn’t display the factory snapshot, even if it exists?
