Got my Turris a few weeks back and trying to get everything up and running. Have enabled Spotify Connect thanks to this thread ([SOLVED] mDNS/Avahi/Zeroconf on bridges (e.g. br-lan)), but how do I get Airplay and Homekit to work? Worked just fine with my previous router so I’m guessing the Turris is a bit more locked down =)

Do I understand correctly that it’s about some small smart devices? If so, have you tried to use some other DNS? Why I ask: this post and around.
Well for what you want to use AirPlay ? It is quite easy to plug USB soundcard and install shairport-sync
opkg update && opkg install shairport-sync
/etc/init.d/shairport-sync enable
/etc/init.d/shairport-sync start
It should basically work out of the box after installation or little update of /etc/shairport-sync.conf is necessary if you run synology nas on same network or want use pulseaudio instead of alsa library for sound output
