Ddns config reset

hi
i mistakenly deleted the myddns_ipv4 config setting.
i tried to recreate it, but i get no presets for the various ddns providers
and then a failure when trying to get the ip address:
Advanced Settings - IP address source [IPv4]: can not detect local IP. Please select a different Source combination

i tried deleting and reinstalling ddns packages, but config was saved.

any suggestions welcome!

You can try to restore the old config.
Use schnapps list to show the available snapshots and use schnapps mount <id> to mount it (replace <id> with the id of the snapshot.

Then you can find the config at /mnt/snapshot-@<id>/etc/config

When finished unmount the snapshot again umount /mnt/snapshot-@<id>

I am experiencing a similar problem when doing an initial configuration, so I do not have a snapshot to restore from.

I enabled the service to run on startup, and tried to configure manually as I had no provider presets. Then I figured out how to get a preset installed, so I installed it. The providers never show in the drop down (even after reboot/service restart) and no matter what I do, I always get the following messages on the config page.

Basic Settings - Custom update-script: unable to update
Advanced Settings - IP address source [IPv4]: can not detect local IP. Please select a different Source combination

Suggestions?

Seems to be same issue discussed here Problems configuring DDNS with Turris Omnia and Turris OS 3.10

I just realized there was another post too, silly me.
