I’ve just set up my new Mox with medkit-201909110432.
I installed “Data Collection” in the updater, but the “Data Collection” tab doesn’t appear in the web interface.
I also can’t run /usr/share/server-uplink/registration_code.sh because /usr/share/server-uplink doesn’t exist.
Since Turris OS 4.0 (based on stable OpenWrt 18.06) there is no uCollect anymore. We are developing a new data collecting system - Sentinel. Which means no data collection tab, yet and some things, which need to be done and they can be found here: https://gitlab.labs.nic.cz/turris/foris/foris/issues/158 most notably Web UI integration. Right now, the data collection package list contains a dynamic firewall, which is not dependent on registration and you will get firewall updates.
Don’t understand, when Honeypot is selected in Updater, if it’s working, even though no data are collected… Could you explain?
data collection does not work with MOX. You have to install Sentinel. That does make a connection to the .cz Death Star, but my logs tell me that something (0 records ) is send, and/but there is no dynamic firewall interaction like on the Turris omnia, otherwise i would see a ‘rules’’ communication in the log?
Unless i do something wrong ofcourse.
