Unfortunately I cannot tell, whether this bug has already been there before (3.8.3 - my router updated yesterday, I restarted an hour ago) or since what update, I only became aware of it today.
As my TO sits behind a modem I need to use ip_source web to get the IP. Looking into luci I see
Changing the ip_source url (e.g. to http://checkip.dyn.com/) doesn’t solve it.
But looking into syslog shows the following:

Looking into luci configuration (“basic settings”) I get the following picture:
So there obviously seem to be at least two bugs inside the luci-app-ddns.
