3.0 to 5.0 migration kernell install step

Hello,

I’m following the steps to migrate from 3.x to 5.x. On https://docs.turris.cz/geek/tos3-migration/, it is said:
Danger

Before first reboot, after migration is completed, you have to run following command over SSH:
ROOT_DIR=/ /etc/updater/hook_postupdate/10_kernel-install. Failing to not do so can result in
to not-booting router.

I did receive the Migraton from Turris OS 3.x was completed.. But the 10_kernel-install file is not there:

root@turris:~# ls -al /etc/updater/hook_postupdate/
drwxr-xr-x 1 root root 128 Dec 21 09:57 .
drwxr-xr-x 1 root root 134 Dec 21 09:57 ..
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 0 Nov 13 05:11 .keep
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 65 Nov 13 05:11 20_update_alternatives.sh
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 137 Nov 13 05:11 95_schnapps.sh
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 325 Nov 13 05:11 99_approvals_cleanup

I still haven’t rebooted as I fear that there might be no viable kernel installed. What should I do ?

Hi @canatella,

the danger box with this content is just for Turris 1.x routers.

Before first reboot, after migration is completed, you have to run following command over SSH: `ROOT_DIR=/ /etc/updater/hook_postupdate/10_kernel-install` . Failing to not do so can result in to not-booting router.

There is pending pull request, which fixes it.
